DETAILED DAYWISE ITINERARY

Day 1 Itinerary

5:00 AM – Departure from Kolkata

Our journey begins early in the morning from a designated point in Kolkata. Board our comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and settle in for the drive to Godkhali, the gateway to the Sundarbans.

8:00 AM – Arrival at Godkhali

Reach Godkhali and transfer to our motorized boat. Enjoy a welcome drink and a light breakfast on board as we set sail towards the Sundarbans.

9:00 AM – Cruise through the Mangroves

As we navigate through the serene waterways, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. Our expert guide will provide insights into the unique ecosystem and the diverse flora and fauna of the Sundarbans.

10:00 AM – Visit Sajnekhali Watch Tower

Disembark at Sajnekhali to visit the watch tower and the Mangrove Interpretation Centre. Learn about the region’s biodiversity, conservation efforts, and see various wildlife exhibits.

11:00 AM – Explore Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower

Continue our journey to the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower, one of the best spots for wildlife sightings. Look out for the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, deer, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

1:00 PM – Lunch on Board

Enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared lunch on the boat while soaking in the tranquil surroundings of the mangrove forest.

2:00 PM – Cruise to Dobanki Watch Tower

Cruise towards Dobanki, where you can walk through the canopy walkway and get a close-up view of the forest. This spot offers another excellent opportunity for wildlife observation.

4:00 PM – Visit Local Village

Experience the local culture with a brief visit to a nearby village. Interact with the villagers and learn about their traditional lifestyle, crafts, and customs.

5:00 PM – Return Journey to Godkhali

Begin our return journey to Godkhali. Relax on the boat, take in the sunset over the mangroves, and enjoy light refreshments.

6:30 PM – Arrival at Godkhali

Arrive back at Godkhali and transfer to our vehicle for the return drive to Kolkata.

8:00 PM – Return to Kolkata

Arrive in Kolkata, marking the end of a memorable day tour in the Sundarbans.
